Founded by author Irma Reyes Herrera, BlueRose Books reflects a deep appreciation for storytelling, family, perseverance, and the lessons that shape our lives. Through heartfelt narratives, personal reflections, and meaningful literature, the goal is to share stories that encourage readers to reflect on their own journeys and discover strength, purpose, and hope.

Born in Guatemala, Central America, Irma spent her childhood and adolescence in a Mayan village before moving to California at the age of twenty. Her life journey across cultures, together with her experiences as a mother raising three children, became the inspiration for her book, In Search of My Destiny, also published in Spanish as En Busca de Mi Destino.

This moving life story explores the power of unconditional love, the strength of family bonds, and the courage to overcome adversity. It reflects a fundamental belief: that faith, determination, and love can help us face life’s greatest challenges and continue pursuing our dreams.
